Nå har jeg kost meg med å prøve noe nytt: laget mixed media bilder på lerret. Det er utrolig gøy!
Sliter veldig med å få tatt fine bilder. Fargene blir liksom ikke helt riktig, og det kommer fram noen merkelige mørkere partier som ikke ser så ille ut i virkeligheten. Jeg har bare et vanlig kompakt kamera, så det blir som det blir :).
Jeg brukte masse forskjellige typer perler, litt lenke som jeg malte med gesso og bladgull i kobber.

I have tried to do some mixed media pictures on canvas, it was so much fun!
The pictures are not very good, there are some dark parts that doesn't really look that bad. All I have is just a small compact camera, so it's the best I can do :).
I used lots of different kind of beads, chain painted with gesso and copper gold leaf.
Her er et nærbilde av mursteinen. Brukte en sjablong fra Panduro og smurte på noe sandgreier jeg kjøpte for kjempelenge siden. Resultatet likte jeg veldig godt, det skinner så fint i det.
Here is a close up of the bricks. I used a stencil and had a tube of some sand thing I bought a very long time ago. I liked the shine it gave.
Her er nærbilde av papirblomstene. De fikk et lag hvit gesso før de ble spraya. Til slutt laget jeg en mix av to forskjellige farger Martha Stewart glitter som jeg limte på.
Here is a close up of the paper flowers. I started with painting them with white gesso.At the end I made a mix of two different Martha Stewart glitters and glued it on.
